The Records Division is responsible for receiving, processing and maintaining all reports made by the Deputies including incident, property, vehicle and missing person reports.

Records is located at 201 East Main Street, Judicial Building, Basement level. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:30AM until 4:30PM. The Department handles all permit requests to purchase a weapon,  registers all sex offenders in Durham County, performs public fingerprinting and all domestic violence orders from the Courts and Clerk's Office.

All fees for services are paid in CASH ONLY at the Cashier's Office located on the 1st floor of the Judicial Building.
The hours of the Cashier's Office are Monday through Friday, 8:30AM to 5:00PM.

Card Lamination     $3.00

Pistol Permit     $5.00 each, after application approval.
Limit 2 permits per application.
