Durham, N.C. – The Durham Board of
County Commissioners (BOCC) seek input from Durham’s citizens regarding the
budget for fiscal year 2010-2011.
To gain insight from citizens, the BOCC will host a Conversations with
Commissioners meeting on Tuesday, March 16, at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held at Little River
Community Complex, located at 8307 N. Roxboro Road.
Conversations with Commissioners will provide a
face-to-face setting for citizens and the BOCC to address areas of
interest regarding the upcoming budget and its deficit. Conversations with
Commissioners will include several short presentations from the county and an
open forum for questions from citizens.
The BOCC will
host another Conversations with Commissioners meeting on Tuesday, March 23, at 7 p.m., at the Holton Career and
Resource Center, located at 401 N. Driver Avenue. The last
Conversations with Commissioners meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 30, at
7 p.m. The location of the event
will be announced in coming days.

Commissioners’ meetings.
