Durham, N.C. – “In
Touch with Durham County,” is a Durham County talk show airing daily on Cable
Channel 8. Michael Page, Chairman of the Durham Board of County
Commissioners and Assistant County Manager Deborah Craig-Ray are
hosts.
The March show features an interview with Dr.
Sherman James and Andrea McMillon of the
African-American Health Improvement Partnership. The organization, based at Duke
University is dedicated to reducing minority health disparities in Durham.

discusses the recent open house at the office, the shortened Census form and
jobs that are still available
The purpose of the show is to share relevant, timely
information from Durham County community partner agencies, as well as provide
interviews with elected officials, county department heads and key staff.
Future topics include reducing childhood obesity, Durham County EMS services,
Senior Pharmacists, and in depth interviews with leaders of county nonprofit
agencies and departments.
