N.C. – Residents that want to stay in the loop of the latest happenings in

Durham County’s Facebook and Twitter
pages.
Facebook, a social utility
that connects friends, co-workers and those that live and work, around one
another, requires interested residents to become members of the social
network to view detailed information on Durham County Government’s Facebook
page. Twitter, offers residents a quick way to find out what
is happening with Durham County Government and communicate with other
followers. Residents interested in following Durham County Government on
Twitter must become members of the social network.
“We are
finding that our residents want to get the facts fast and have access to these
facts at their finger tips as much as possible,” said Deborah Craig-Ray,
assistant county manager for Durham County Government. “These social
networking tools allow us to creatively reach our residents and share valuable
information regarding our events and services for our internal and external
customers.”
