The Community Health Division is comprised of public health nurses, social workers, processing assistants, physician extenders, physical therapists, community health assistants, outreach workers, and Spanish interpreters. Additional specialty services are provided by contract staff, which include physicians. These staff members contribute to the mission and goals of the Durham County Health Department by providing services in six major programs.
