Important Changes –Everyone that wishes to receive assistance with their energy bill must apply. Note:  All members of the household must be 60 years of age or older, or at least one household member must be disabled and receiving services through the DAAS.  If funds remain available after January 31, 2012, any other eligible households may apply during February through the end of March.

Applications will be taken at the Community & Family Life Recreation Center at Lyon Park, 1313 Halley Street, Durham (corner of Kent and Halley Streets) beginning December 1, from 8:30 – 4:30 Monday – Friday until the funds are exhausted.
