The Utility Division supports the missions of the County and the Engineering and Environmental Services Department with the operation and maintenance of the Triangle Wastewater Treatment Plant (TWWTP) and collection system. The TWWTP serves the southeastern portion of Durham County inside and outside the City limits and the Research Triangle Park. The plant also serves a portion of the Town of Cary on an interim basis through calendar year 2013.
