The purpose of this council is to encourage the private sector participation in the City and County Job Training Program. The council consists of owners, chief executives or chief operating officers of private or non-profit employers and major non-governmental employers. Other members of the council represent education agencies, organized labor, rehabilitation agencies, community-based organizations, economic development agencies and the Employment Security Commission.
